Terry's parents, J.D. and Gari Chandler, had originally opened Fred's in 1978, and after years of success, have handed the business over to Terry and his wife. By the way, Fred's was named after the Chandler's dog Fred, but he has since passed on. Fred's is located in the up and coming arts district of Fort Worth.
